The word Lepidolite comes from the Greek "lepido", meaning scale because of its layered structure. As a mica, it has almost perfect cleavage in one direction. Lepidolite is a potassium aluminum crystal that varies in color from shades of violet/lilac, pastel pink, pale to deep rose, mauve and deeper purple. Vibrates to the number 8, and produces a soothing vibration that creates loving energy in any environment. Lepidolite can remove blockages and be used at heart chakra to bring balance during transitional states.
